Poster Awards at the 3rd
Biennial Schizophrenia International Research Conference
Cognitive Neuropsychiatry, Schizophrenia
Bulletin and Schizophrenia Research will award poster prizes
during the SIRS Business Meeting scheduled for Monday, 16 April at 6:15
pm. The SIRS Awards Committee will collaborate with journal editors to
select the awards recipients. All three journals require that
researchers be less than 40 years of age at the time of the conference
for consideration.
Cognitive Neuropsychiatry:
We are pleased to sponsor a new poster prize at the 3rd Biennial
Schizophrenia International Research Conference. The prize will be for
the best example of the Cognitive Neuropsychiatry approach to
schizophrenia. Selection criteria include:
- Is the research novel and
creative?
- Does the research make a
significant contribution to understanding the cognitive basis of
psychopathology?
- Is the research
characterized by rigorous and innovative scientific methods?
Professors Tony David
and Peter Halligan will work with the SIRS Awards Committee to determine
the top three prize winners.
The following prizes
will be awarded to the top three posters:
1st: $250
2nd: $150
3rd: $100
Prize winners are
encouraged to submit their work for publication in the journal
“Cognitive Neuropsychiatry” where if it is successful it will be
specially highlighted.

USD to a young researcher

Research Editors-In-Chief, Drs. Lynn DeLisi and Henry Nasrallah,
will present awards to three young researchers who present new data
which advances the field.
