KEYNOTE ADDRESSES:
Philip Campbell, Editor-in-Chief
of Nature and the Nature Publishing Group will deliver the Keynote address
for the 3rd Biennial Schizophrenia International Research
Conference. Dr. Campbell has worked with the UK Office of Science, the
European Commission and the US National Institutes of Health on issues
relating to science and its impacts in society.
PLENARY ADDRESSES:
Four plenary sessions will be featured at the conference. The Plenary sessions will begin with a presentation from the primary speaker, followed by panelists' perspectives on relevant issues. The sessions will conclude with audience discussion.
Topics for the 2012 Plenary sessions are Psychological and Social
treatments, Genetics, Immunology and Experimental Medicine and New

Introductory presentations will be given on the challenges of translating preclinical findings into clinical research and on regulatory practice. Researchers in Industry will provide updates on new compounds and strategic approaches to drug development.

WORKSHOPS:

New for 2012 – seven workshops have been added to the conference schedule. Four concurrent workshops will be offered on Sunday and three evening workshops will be offered on Tuesday following the afternoon sessions. ORAL SESSIONS: Six oral sessions featuring eight presentations will be offered. Each oral presentation will be 10 minutes with a 5 minute discussion following the presentation.
